A view of HMS Naiad taking HMS Belleisle in tow during the final stages of the naval Battle of Trafalgar, fought on 21 October 1805 between the British and the French, resulting in a British victory. Napoleonic Wars (1803-15).

Not described in Parker. The lettering of the title is faintly engraved, suggesting the possibility that this example may be a proof impression.

Condition: no fold lines. Verso: induced discolouration.
