A map with letterpress text of the Battle of Deeg, fought on 13 November, between the army of the East India Company, commanded by Major-General J.H. Fraser and the Maratha army commanded by Maharajah Yashwantrao Holkar (1776-1811), resulting in a British victory. Napoleonic Wars (1803-15): Second Anglo-Maratha War (1803-05). Oriented with north-north-west to top (cardinal points).

Condition: six fold lines; creased; surface dirt along left edge. Verso: induced discolouration; surface dirt along left edge consistent with the map having been stored rolled and tied.
