  • Scale: 1:726,019 approx. Scale bars: British Statute Miles 69½ to a Degree [133 mm =] 60; Minutes of Lattitude [sic] making each a Geometrical or Nautic Mile [152 mm =] 60. Marching Miles computed at 80 to a Degree [151 mm =] 80. Common Cosses about 40 to a Degree. These are Equal to about 60 Malabar Hours March, called by Europeans Malabar Miles [152 mm =] 40.
