A map of the siege of Stade by the Danish army, from 7 August to its surrender on 6 September 1712. Great Northern War (1700-1721). Oriented with north-north-west to top.

This composite piece includes a front elevation, ground floor plan, and plan of a balcony for an imaginary palace, together with a plan of part of an idealised six-corner (i.e. six bastions) fortification. Stade had been the administrative seat of the Duchy of Bremer and Verden, under Swedish rule, since 1645.
