The attribution to Marin is made on stylistic grounds. The profiles to accompany this plan are at RCIN 728045.b. The Swedes, attempting to regain power in Eastern Europe by invading Russia with an underprepared 15,000 strong army, were defeated at the Battle of Villmanstrand on 23 August 1741.
