Bottom part of a high oblique view of the Battle of Rocroi, and the orders of battle of the opposing armies, fought on 19 May 1643 between the French, commanded by Louis de Bourbon, Duc d’Enghien (8 September 1621-11 December 1686) and the Spanish, commanded by Francisco de Melo (1597-18 December 1651), resulting in a French victory. Thirty Years War (1618-1648).
