A high oblique view and map of Fort Mardyck, besieged from 4 to 25 August 1646 by the French commanded by Gaston, duc d’Orléans (25 April 1608-2 February 1660) and Louis II de Bourbon-Condé (duc d’Enghien; 8 September 1621-11 December 1686) and showing the Dutch fleet off the coast commanded by Admiral Maarten Tromp (23 April 1598-10 August 1653). Thirty Years War (1618-1648). Oriented with south-east to top.
