Printed map of Netherlands, with coloured lines, in watercolour inscribed on it. War of Devolution (1667-1668) and Franco-Dutch War (1672-1678). Oriented with north to top (compass rose). Etched and engraved map of the Netherlands showing the French campaign in the Spanish Netherlands in 1667 during the War of Devolution and in the opening campaign of the first year of the Franco-Dutch War in 1672.

The march routes taken by the French forces on their campaigns are not engraved on the map and are shown only in manuscript.

The coats of arms which are engraved below the title are, from left to right: 1) Mechelin, 2) Antwerp, 3) Holland, 4) Namur, 5) Limburg? (not showing bifurcated tail on the Limburg lion), 6) Guelders, 7) Luxemburg, 8) Hainault, 9) Flanders, 10) Artois, 11) Utrecht, 12) Zutphen, 13) Overijssel, 14) Dutch Republic, 15) Groningen, 16) Friesland, 17) Zeeland.
