This sketch is accompanied by another sketch of the ground to the north (RCIN 734106.2.b) and two pieces of explanatory text (RCINs 734106.2.c, d). The area where the manoeuvres were to take place was in the north-west part of Windsor Forest, west of Windsor Great Park.
Formerly kept in a buff rag paper folder on which is inscribed (recto, bottom) the old heading and, in black pencil in a modern hand: (a-d) CMB Jan 87.
Condition: no fold lines; brown discolouration. Verso: ink smudges.
