This view appears to show four captured French vessels, each flying the Jack and the French flag. Portsmouth is in the background. The accompanying letterpress text is at RCIN 735106.b. Both view and text were formerly kept in a rough buff folder with 'Naval Engagement 31 Jan. 1804' inscribed bottom left of the front cover. Not described in Parker.
