An order of battle of the Royalist army at the Battle of Edgehill, fought on 23 October 1642 between the Parliamentarians, commanded by the Captain-General, Robert Devereux, 3rd Earl of Essex (11 January 1591-14 September 1646) and the Royalists, commanded by Charles I (19 November 1600-30 January 1649) and Prince Rupert of the Rhine (17 December 1619-29 November 1682), resulting in a stalemate. First English Civil War (1642-1646).
