A view of the siege, from 14 to 28 May 1629, of Huguenot-held Privas, commanded by Henri, duc de Rohan (21 August 1579-13 April 1638), by the French Royal army, under Louis XIII (27 September 1601-14 May 1643) and Henri de Schomberg (1575-17 November 1632), resulting in the capitulation of the town on 28 May. Huguenot Rebellions or Rohan Wars (1627-1629). Oriented with west-south-west to top.

Another example of this print is at RCIN 722039.j. A loose copy of this view, on a slightly reduced scale, lacking any lettering, follows p.63 of the third part of Les Triomphes de Louis le Juste, XIII (1649). The attribution to Abraham Bosse is made on stylistic grounds.
