A map of the siege of Gibraltar, 11 February-12 June 1727, by the Spanish, commanded by Cristóbal de Moscoso y Montemayor, against the British garrison who were supported by the navy, commanded by Admiral Sir Charles Wager (1666-1743). The Spanish withdrew from the siege. Anglo-Spanish War (1727-9). Oriented with south to top (compass rose).

This shows the sea assault conducted by Sir Charles Wager, and the Spanish camps. The map covers the coastline from east of Gibraltar to south-west of Cap Cabrero (Punta del Carnero 36°04ʹ37ʺN 05°25ʹ32ʺW).
