Printed (letterpress) account of the operations of the British army in India in 1791. Third Anglo-Mysore War (1789-92).
This account gives the details of the marches of the British Army, commencing with the reinforcement of the army at Amboor with four battalions of Sepoys from southern India, and the Bengal regiment of cavalry under the command of Colonel Oldham. The movements of the army, from their setting off on 22 April 1791 to Seringapatam by way of Bangalore, are described in detail, as well as the actions at Bangalore and Arakere.
Bound in with the text are an order of battle of the Indian army commanded by Cornwallis (RCIN 735002.2), and a sketch of the positions of the British Army at Seringapatam on 15 May 1791 (RCIN 735002.3).
