Franz Ludewig (active 1757)
A map of the Battle of Chotzemitz, fought on 18 June 1757, between the Prussian army, commanded by Frederick the Great and the Austrian army, commanded by Marshal Daun, resulting in an Austrian victory. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with north to top.
This has the appearance of a piece of college work – a copy of a plan of the battle – done some years after the event, perhaps by a Prussian military cadet, Franz Ludewig.
