The encamped regiments, under the command of the Duke of Bedford, are: 2nd and 10th Regiments of Dragoons, and the 3rd, 8th, 12th, 15th 20th and 33rd Regiments of Foot.
Robert George Bruce was also in 1756 a Practitioner Engineer (Conolly, no.123, List 2). He went on to serve in North America in the 1760s, achieved the rank of Captain of Engineers (8 June 1764; Conolly, no.123, List 3), and committed suicide in 1779 (Gentleman's Magazine v. 49, p.211).
Condition: one fold line; induced discolouration from prominent brown stain on verso.
