A map of the encampment of the Right Wing of George II's German troops at Hagenah, 11 September 1757. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with south to top.

The distance between the previous encampment at Bremervörde and Hagenah is about 14 km (8½ miles). The encamped squadrons and battalions of the following regiments were: Cavalry: Busch; Breidenbach; Reg: du Corps; Gilten; Grothaus; Hodenberg; Sckölln; Reden; Hammerstein. Infantry: Haus; Zastrow Colonel; Post; Ledebur; Spörcken; Grenadiers Hannovriens; Grenadiers de Bronsvic; Grenadiers Hessois; Block; Brunck; Hardenberg; Wangenheim; Zandré; Knesebeck; Dreves; fusiliers; Stoltzenberg; Fabrice; Kielmansegge; Oberg. Cavalry: Dachenhausen Cavalry and Dragoons.

The scale to the map, and the key to the conventional signs used to represent the troops is given below this map on the same sheet of paper, headed 'Remarques' (see RCIN 732201.ai). The troop rectangles are coloured according to nationality: Hanoverian (red), Prussian (green), Brunswickian (yellow), Hessian (blue), French (lilac).
