The distance between the camps at Aerzen and Hameln was about 10 km (6 miles). The encamped squadrons and battalions of the following regiments are: First Line: de Busch Drag.; Gilten; Sckölln; Regmt du Corps; Block; Holtzenberg; Fusiliers; Scheiter; Knesebeck; Sporcken; Hodenberg; Fabrice; Druchtleben; Diepenbroick; Kielmansegge. Second Line: Imhoff; Zastrow; Behr; Regmt du Corps; Parc d'Artillerie Hanov.; Parc d'Art: de Bronsvic.
The scale to the map, and the key to the conventional signs used to represent the troops is given on RCIN 732201.ai, headed 'Remarques'. The troop rectangles are coloured according to nationality: Hanoverian (red), Prussian (green), Brunswickian (yellow), Hessian (blue), French (lilac).
