A map of the encampment of George II's German troops at Deckbergen, 11 July 1757. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with south-west to top.

The distance between the previous encampment at Dankersen and Deckbergen is about 17 km (10½ miles). The camp at Deckbergen extended over about 5 km (3 miles). The encamped squadrons and battalions of the following regiments were: Right Wing: Busch; Bock; Reg: du Corps; Sckölln; Dachenhausen; Dachenhausen Drag; Vac Schlüter; Gilten; Grenadiers a Cheval; Garde du Corps; Gardes; Block; Kielmansegge; Diepenbroick; Zandré; Stoltzenberg; Buckeburg; Post; Fabrice; Ledebur; Oberg; Wangenheim; Druchtleben; Scheiter; Saxe Gothe; Knesebeck; Hardenberg. Left Wing: Pr. Isenburg; Hanau; Canitz; Anhalt; Mansbach; Haudring; Furstenberg; Pr Charle; Grenadiers; 2 Bat Behr; 2 Bat Reg: du Corps; Reg: du Corps hessois; Dragons du Corps; C: Isenburg; Miltitz; Pr Guilleaume. Detached Corps: at Minden – Fusiliers, Gardes hes:, Zastrow Br:; Campé a Visbeck; Grenadiers et les 2 Esq de Reden a Steenbergen; Prussians at Münder.
