A rough sketch of the encampment of George II's German troops at Halle, 19 July 1757. Seven Years War (1756-1763). Oriented with south-east to top.

The attribution to G.J. du Plat is made on stylistic grounds. This appears to be a preliminary sketch for the finished plans at RCINs 732200.s and 732201.s. Regiments are named.
