A map of the encampment of George II's German troops at Lünen (Lühden), 27 July 1757. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with south to top.
The place name 'Lünen' in the title is not to be confused with Lünen (North Rhine-Westphalia 51°37'00"N 07°31'00"E). The distance between the previous encampment at Halle and Lünen (Lühden) is about 40 km (25 miles).

Schlüter; Reden; Hammerstein; Gardes; Block; Kielmansegge; Diepenbroick; Zandré; Stoltzenberg; Saxe Gothe; Post; Fabrice; Ledebur; Oberg; Spörcken; Hodenberg; Wangenheim; Druchtleben; Scheiter; Buckeburg; Knesebeck; Zastrow; Hardenberg; Brunck.
