A map of the encampments at Warley Common, 1757-62. Seven Years War (1756-63) Oriented with north to top (cardinal points).

The facing page (RCIN 731068.x) lists regiments for each of the years from 1759 to 1762. In 1759 the encamped regiments [no commanding officer named] are: 19th Lord George Beauclerk's; 24th Cornwallis's. In 1760 the encamped regiments, under the command of Major-General Robert Bertie, are: 3rd Buff's; 67th Cavendish's. In 1761 the encamped regiments, under the command of Lieutenant-General Robert Bertie are: Lancashire and Warwickshire. In 1762 the encamped regiments, under the command of Lieutenant-General Robert Bertie, are: 71st Petitot's; Hertfordshire.
