None of the engraved camp rectangles, nor the boundaries and towns, are coloured. Additional encampments are drawn in red, dark blue, and green. The red encampments are marked with numbers from 1 to 8, and the blue encampments are marked with the letter A; the green encampments are marked with a cross. They are located to either side of the Diemel River, between Stadtberg (now Marsberg) in the west to Dringelborch (now Trendelburg) in the east. These positions are consistent with the manoeuvres just before the Battle of Warburg on 31 July 1760; the blue lines would represent the French positions.
