A map of south-eastern England showing the locations of the cantonments of the army in July 1761. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with north to top.

There are small variations in detail between this map and a similar map by the same draughtsman at RCIN 733033; in particular, there are some quite different mileages given between the same places, although the totals of horses and men are the same.

Additional text: [right, down right side of map: a tabulated list of regiments, their quarters, and the numbers of Horse Dragoons in the regiments and counties, and the same for the Foot regiments.]

Condition: no fold lines; brown discolouration; surface dirt around edges. Verso: surface dirt; induced discolouration.
