A plan of the field of battle and the position of the British and French troops near the Monongahela River, 1755. French and Indian War (1754-63). Oriented with north to top. 

The plan shows Braddock's army in march formation, having just crossed the Monongahela. The bluffs formed by the river terraces are clearly shown. The position of the working party of Sir John St. Clair, Deputy Quarter Master General is shown near the front of the march.
