A map of the operations of the British army in Portugal between 6 August and 19 November 1762. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with north to top (compass rose).

The British are shown in red, the Portuguese in yellow, and the Spanish in blue. The area covered extends from the River Alva in the north to Badajoz (38°52'40"N 06°58'14"W) in the south, and from Coimbra (40°12'20"N 08°25'10"W) in the west to Badajoz in the east. The Spanish border is coloured yellow.

Andrew Frazer is recorded as 'Fraser' by Conolly (1898).

Condition: seven fold lines; creases consistent with the map having been rolled; two large tears to right edge; old repair to tear on bottom edge. Verso: surface dirt.
