This ‘State of the Army’ in 1745 lists the numbers of officers and subalterns in each rank for each named regiment as well as the numbers of ordinary soldiers. The grand total is given as 143,759 men. Three columns show the colours of the jackets, vests, and breeches of each regiment.
Condition: small tears to bottom left and top left. Verso: discolouration to right side, some smudges, consistent with map having been rolled and tied.
