A map of the encampment of the British and Austrian armies at Kelsterbach on 10 June 1743. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with south to top. The tentative attribution to Hancko is based on the style of lettering.

A sketch map showing the positions of the British and Austrian camps, in order of battle, south-west of Kelsterbach (the draughtsman has ‘Keltersbach’). The position of a camp of five British battalions the day before, 9 June, is indicated (according to the detail on RCIN 728088). The main roads to Hochst, Frankfurt, Darmstadt and Mainz are shown.

This sketch is virtually the same as RCIN 728088 but shows only three bridges across the small river, with an additional pontoon bridge across the Main, and the equipment is listed with four more cannon. Place-name spellings also differ. Another copy, in a different hand, with the same detail as RCIN 728088 (save for place-name spellings) is at RCIN 728090.
