A map of the encampment of Hessian forces at Nistelrode, 18-21 October 1748. Oriented with south-west to top (cardinal points).
This camp took place just after the ending of the War of the Austrian Succession with the ratification on 18 October of the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle.
