A map of the encampment of the Allied army at Terheijden on 22 May 1746. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with west to top.
A detailed topographical map showing roads, settlements, drainage, marshes and the extended lines of encampments of the Allied army to the north of Breda. The attribution to Hancko is made on stylistic grounds.

Condition: seven fold lines; formerly folded to 11.2 x 6.7 cm; trimmed: an inscription in the cartographer's hand, below bottom border, has been cropped, it finishes: [S.M. Britannique]; a piece has been removed from the top right corner by a diagonal cut. Verso: four old repairs have been made by pasting thin paper to the verso; induced discolouration
