A map of the encampments of the Allied army between Brussels and Willebroek, and of the French army, 6 September 1745. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with west to top.

The lines of an old encampment of the French army, marked in yellow, extends from Masseele (Mazenzele 50°56'32"N 04°10'20"E) in the south-west, through Steenuffle (Steenhuffel 50°59'43"N 04°16'04"E) to Lippelo (51°02'33"N 04°15'32"E) in the north-east. The map extends from Lillo (51°18'15"N 04°17'24"E) in the north to Uckell (Uccle 50°48'08"N 04°20'21"E) in the south, and from Meldert (50°56'04"N 04°08'06"E) in the west to Putte Vrÿ (Putte 51°03'12"N 04°37'57"E) in the east.
