The camp is shown in three lines extending from Rheindurkeim (Rhein-Dürkheimer-Fahrt 49°41'00"N 08°21'00"E) in the north to Neuhausen (49°39'00"N 08°21'00"E) in the south, between Hornsheim (Herrnsheim 49°39'29"N 08°19'44"E) in the west, and the Rhine in the east: a linear distance of about 3.75 km.
This rough field sketch would have formed part of the compilation materials for Schultz's Plan of all the Marches and Iincampments of the Army of the Allies commanded by His Majesty the King of Great Britain from the Battle of Dettingen to the End of the Campain, in the Year 1743 at RCIN 728103.
Condition: no fold lines; a tear along the bottom of the inked detail, perhaps where a ruled ink line has been scraped out so as to allow for the possible extension of the map detail, to include the detail in pencil below.
