The returns are made for the Horse, Dragoons, Foot, and a Detachment of the Royal Regiment of Artillery with its Attendants. The returns include the numbers of sick, fit for duty of both men and horses, and give statistics under all ranks of officers, staff officers, rank and file for each named Horse and Dragoon regiment.

The first, relating to the infantry, gives the Returns for the named fifteen regiments which were present and, for each, gives the number of officers, (and lists their ranks), staff officers (and lists their ranks, serjeants and drummers fit for duty, rank and file, and the numbers of dead, deserted, etc., in each regiment). The second tabulation gives the Returns for a detachment of the Royal Regiment of Artillery and attendants, including the Engineers:] Detachment of the Royal Regiment of Artillery with it’s Attendants.
Condition: six fold lines; formerly folded in half to make a four-page leaflet, then folded to 10.7 x 8.0 cm, presumably for dispatch.
