The area covered extends for about 24 km (15 miles) to each side of the River Kinzig (a tributary of the Main) between Langenselbold to the west and Wächtersbach to the east, and from Ronnenburg (Ronneburg 50°13'40"N 09°03'20"E) in the north-west to Orbe (Bad Orb 50°13'40"N 09°20'52"E) in the south. The troop rectangles are coloured according to nationality: Austrians (yellow), Dutch (blue), and Hanoverian (red).
