      A map of the encampment of the Allied army, under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine, at Ocquier, 1 September 1746. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with north to top.

      The distance from the previous camp at Filée, near Libois, is about 16 km (10 miles). The encampment (Austrian, English, Hanoverian, Hessian, Dutch) extends across cultivated land for a distance of about 10 km (6.2 miles), between Ocquier and Paije (Pailhe 50°25'24"N 05°15'32"E).
