A rough sketch showing the positions of the encamped regiments in relation to surrounding settlements. The regimental rectangles are coloured according to nationality: Austrian (red and green), British (red and yellow), Hanoverian (red and white), Hessian (yellow), Dutch (blue and white). Part of the French camp is shown near Reckem (Rekem 50°55'20"N 05°41'37"E). The geographical coverage extends from Rekem in the north to Vizer (Visé 50°44'15"N 05°41'56"E) in the south, and from Veltweesen (Veldwezelt 50°52'05"N 05°37'51"E) in the west to Keere (Cadier en Keer 50°49'42"N 05°45'55"E) in the east.
Condition: no fold lines; brown stains. Verso: foxing; induced discolouration; top left, water-stained patch, shadow and fragments from the removal of Cumberland's cipher label.
