A map of the encampments of the Allied army at Roermond between 10 and 20 April 1748. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with west to top (cardinal points).

The earlier positions of the English and Hanoverian camps are shown by light grey rectangles with dotted outlines. The position of the combined camp is shown in solid colouring: British (red), Austrian (green), Hanoverian (yellow). The three pontoon bridges across the Meuse, together with the bridgehead fortification are shown to the north-east of Roermond.
