The march from the previous camp at Dongen to Terheijden was about 12 km (7.5 miles). This was not a regular encampment arranged in lines; the sites were in irregular order to the east of Terheijden, between the town and a fortified line just west of a moated building named 'Manickhof'. Squadrons and battalions of the following regiments were present in three groups: 1) Scots Greys, Rothes, Cope, Rich, with artillery to the left. 2) Pultney, Conway, Douglass, Fleming, Husk. 3) This group was arranged facing outwards from the salient angles of the fortified line: Guards, Howard, Dejean, Crawford, Johnson, Campbell. The outline of an older moated fortification is shown to the north-west of Terheijden; it is known today as the 'Kleine Schans'.
Condition: flat, no fold lines.
One of a set of seven plans of encampments together with an order of battle by Daniel Paterson; all stitched together along the left edge (see RCINs 730180.a-h).
