A map of the encampment of the Allied army along the Scheldt on 22 June 1744. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with west to top. In the same hand as RCINs 729011, 729012, 729014, 729017, 729020, 729021, 729030, 729037-8, 729047-58.

This shows the same detail, in the same hand but on a different orientation, as RCIN 729021. The encampments are on the east side of the River Escaut (Scheldt), near Oudenaarde (50°51'06"N 03°36'32"E), between Mulde (Melden, 50°48'52"N 03°33'55"E) in the south and Gavere in the north. The fortified lines at the bridgehead at Gavere (50°55'45"N 03°39'42") are shown.

Condition: four fold lines; very worn along folds; foxing and brown staining; surface dirt along left edge. Verso: foxing; induced discolouration.
