This would appear to have been made by a French cartographer: only the French positions are shown, extending from Ramecroix (50°35'44"N 03°28'25"E) and Gaurin (50°35'21"N 03°29'16"E) in the north, in a south-south-west direction to Fontenoy, with one line at right angles between Fontenoy and Anthoin (Antoing 50°34'03"N 03°26'57"E) to the west. Vezon (50°34'09"N 03°30'16"E) and Bourgeon (50°33'41"N 03°28'46"E) mark the limits of the Bois de Barry, more extensive than in the present day.
