The march was in five divisions, the first taking from 6 to 31 August, with a total of seven days' rest, to complete the journey of approximately 265 km (164 miles approx). The other divisions followed at two-day intervals, the last arriving on 8 September. The route was as follows: Boeckholtz (Bocholt 51°50'00"N 06°36'00"E), Borcken (Borken 51°51'00"N 06°20'0"E), Coesfeld (51°56'00"N 07°09'00"E), Notteln (Nottuln 51°56'00"N 07°21'00"E), Rohrsel (Altenroxel 51°57'00"N 07°33'00"E), Telligte (Telgte 51°59'00"N 07°47'00"E), Warrendorff (Warendorf 51°57'00"N 07°5900E), Wildenbruck (Wiedenbrück 51°50'00"N 08°19'00"E), Wienbruck (?), Paderborn (51°43'08"N 08°45'15"E), Hussen (Husen 51°35'00"N 08°50'00"E), Essentau (Essento 51°29'00"N 08°50'00"E), Corbach (Korbach 51°16'32"N 08°52'22"E), Sachsenberg (51°08'00"N 08°48'00"E), Franckenberg (51°04'00N 08°48'00"E), Wetter (50°54'00"N 08°43'00"E), Marpourg (Marburg an der Lahn 50°49'00"N 08°46'00"E), Loller (Lohra? 50°43'59"N 08°38'00"E).
