An order of battle of the Allied army under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine in the Low Countries, September 1746. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48).

In September 1746 the Allied army camped at seven different locations: Ocquier, Harze, Fays, Soumagne, Bombaye, Lanaken, and Rosmeer (see the sequence of plans at RCIN 730053).

The order of battle is given in three lines. The General Officers commanding the First Line are Field Marshal Bathÿana; General de la Cavallerie et d'Infanterie Sommerfeldt, Daún, Carl Palfÿ; General Feldmarechaux Lieutenants Prince Friedrich, Drúchtleben, Kolowrath, Mercÿ, Pritzikofskÿ, Philibert; Generaux Majors Rohtes, Bentheim, Dalwig, Hammerstein, Howard, Wolff, Maÿdell, Zastrow, Arberg, Haller, Lillers, Sincere, Gemmingen, Bubla, Wallbrún, Bournonville, Spada; Brigadiers Blighs, Wrede, Block.

The General Officers of the Second Line are General de la Cavallerie et d'Infanterie Geisrück; Generaux Feldmarechaux Lieutenants Mansbach, Grüne, Holli; Generaux Majors Crafford, Isenbúrg, Montignie, Klincaústroem, Pourghaús, Bethlem, Úÿvari, Elberfeldt, Dúrlach, Winckelmann, Radicati; Brigadiers Adelepsen, Borch, Spoercken.

The General Officers of the Third Line are Feldmarechaux Lieutenants Trips, Baroniaÿ; Generaux Majors Morotz, Prince Esterhasÿ.

Condition: five fold lines; formerly folded to 14.3 x 9.9 cm; trimmed. Verso: induced discolouration; surface dirt on outside fold panel.
