The Imperial, Dutch, Hanoverian, Hessian and British troops are organised in three different orders of battle, each of two lines with a reserve, to be adopted according to different circumstances. The first arrangement is according to the rank; the second and third arrangements make alternative adjustments to the first in order to counter the disproportionate positioning of the cavalry between the two wings - the right wing being stronger than the left.
