An order of battle of the Left Wing of the Allied army, 22 June 1748. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48).
The squadrons of horse are represented by guidons, and the battalions by standards. Each is coloured according to the regimental colours. Regiments are named.
The General Officers of the First Line are Generals Somerfeldt, Ligoneer; Lieutenant-Generals Hamerstein, Zastrow, Druchleben, Huske, Albemarle, Hawley; Major-Generals Wrede, Borch, Block, Torrington, Paulet.
The General Officers of the Second Line are Lieutenant-Generals Montigny, Klinkowstroom, Howard; Major-Generals Adelepsen, Sporcken, Fowke, Bligh. Artillery under the command of Colonel Belford.
