An order of battle of the Allied army in two lines under the command of George II in Germany, July 1743. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48).

The General Officers of the First Line are Marshals Prince George de Hesse, Comte de Neuperg, Duc d'Aremberg, Earl of Stair; Generals du Pontpietin, Prince de Waldeck, Diemar, Honniwood; Lieutenant-Generals Sommerfeldt, Ilten, Prince de Salm, Chanclos, Dunmore, Courriere, Greffendorf, Ligonnier, Campbell; Major-Generals Launaÿ, Soubiron, Brandt, Rothes, Albemarle; Brigadiers Montigny, Klinckawström, Middachten, Zastrow, Howard, Onslow, Duc de Marleborough.

The General Officers of the Second Line are General de Wendt; Lieutenant-Generals Druchtleben, Prince de Wolffenbuttel, Duc de Cumberland, Havley, Cope; Major-Generals Hammerstein, Prince Frederic [of Hesse], Holli; Brigadiers Grote, Maider, Schulenbourg, Huscke, Pultney. The Ecossois-montagnards are to the right of the two lines of battle.

The regimental rectangles appear to be coloured according to the coat, facings, and cuffs or vest. A note in a cartouche, bottom right, states that the total number of cannon was 82 pieces: British 24, Austrian 20, Hanoverian 26. Another note in a cartouche, bottom left, states that the total number of squadron of horse for First and Second Lines was 76, with 57 battalions, plus a Scottish unit: ‘Ecossois: montagnards 1 Bat.’
