    An order of battle of the Hanoverian troops at the camp at Hamelin in October 1741. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48).

    The General Officers are Lieutenant-Generals Büsch and Sommerfeldt; Major-Generals Launay, Ilten, Drüchleben. The regimental rectangles are coloured in yellow for the infantry and red for the cavalry. Each regiment is named: Pontpietin, Adelepsen, Leib Regiment, Gardes, Camper, Drüchleben, Schülenburg, Krueg, Block, Böselager, Bothmer, Sommerfeldt, Mellevil, Bremer, Hammerstein, Büsch. The artillery is in the rear.

    General Jacques de Ponpietin (1668-1756) was a Braunschweigisch-Lünebergischer general (CERL Thesaurus).
