An order of battle of the Allied army under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine in Alsace, 1744. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). The attribution to Schultz is made on stylistic grounds.

The order of battle is in three Lines. The General Officers of the First Line are le Comte de Traun; [Lieutenant-Generals] Berlichinger, Thüngen, Hohenembs; [Major-Generals] S. Gotha, Birchenf[eld], Schulemb[urg], Wolfenbuttel, Grüne, Leop[old] Daun, Phibert, Balayra; [Brigadiers] Locatelli, Bentheim, Marchall, Haremb[erg], Publa, L. Palfi, Tungern, Giulay, Kalckreuter.

The General Officers of the Second Line are General Feld Zugmeister le Prince de Waldeck; Preising, Mercy, Bornclau, J. Königseck, Bernes; Czerbelloni, Spada, Roth, Meligni, Durlach, Tornaco, Bretlach, Forgatsch.

The General Officers of the Third Line [Reserve] are Naidasdy, Fr. S. Ignon, Herbertstein, C. St.Ignon, Naidasdy; Esterhasy, Dassafi, Moringer, Minsky, Schmerzing, Beleznai, Trips. The General of Artillery is named as Feurstein.

Regiments are named. The regimental rectangles may be coloured according to the uniforms.
