The Battle of Piacenza took place on 16 June 1746 between the French and Spanish army and the Austrians and Sardinians. This rough sketch map (probably copied from another map) shows in outline the positions of the armies in May, and is attributed to Schultz on stylistic grounds.
Condition: two fold lines; trimmed; small tear along left of central horizontal fold; 4.7 cm tear along right of central horizontal fold; small abrasion [erasure?] left of centre; dirty mark top, centre. Verso: fold lines worn.
