The attribution to Schultz is made on stylistic grounds. This map is probably a copy made by Schultz in the 1740s of a map made by military surveyors during the War of the Spanish Succession. It is unfinished, lacking the title which was designed to be lettered in the blank panel at the top of the map; additional text in the blank panel bottom left and, probably, the scale statement in the blank panel bottom centre.
The map is bounded, approximately, by the following places, clockwise from the top right: Klinga (Klingen 48°25'55"N 11°09'11"E), Eckna (Ecknach 48°26'42"N 11°07'44"E), Alkershausen (Algertshausen 48°27'36"N 11°07'09"E), Walkershoff (Walchshofen 48°29'13"N 11°08'18"E), Grosshausen (48°30'04"N 11°09'02"E), Kühbach [not named] (48°29'27"N 11°11'12"E), Ober Wilsbach (Oberwittelsbach 48°28'06"N 11°10'45"E), Ober Maurbeck (Obermaurbach 48°25'46"N 11°11'08"E).
