This map shows the positions of the encamped besieging Allied army, surrounding Bonn on both sides of the river. The location of Coehoorn's attack, north-east of Fort de Bourgogne, on the east side of the river, is indicated. The dates of the siege which are given in the title of this map are different to those of more contemporary maps, which state that the siege lasted from 3-14 May.
